My problem with the book was actually the pacing and the action, or lack there of. The first half of the book NOTHING happened but memories, and I just couldn't stand it. But now that you mention it, I do agree with your point about religion in this book. I have actually seen...Ahh I totally agree with you! I have actually seen TONS of negative reviews for this one, so you're not in the minority!
