Top 12 of 2012!!!

So, I know that this is late as it is now 2013, but my 18 month old spent Christmas Day in the hospital for a febrile seizure and 106 temperature, so for the last week we have been watching over him day and night!  No worries, he is much better now!  We are blessed and thankful that God watched over us and healed him!

So...on to a cheerier note!!!!  We 3 sisters got together and came up with our top 12 books for 2012!!!!  They are in no particular order because we couldn't agree because we LOVED them all!!!!

So, here we go!

One word:  Four.

This has become one of my favorite series!!!! I just love Aiden and Alex--and even Seth at times!!!

I haven't read this one, but Brittany swears by it!  Any time we mention books we love, John Green jumps to the top of her list!

Of course this one made the list!  The NA genre has exploded this year, and this book is the perfect example of it--witty, steamy, and fun!

Yummy, Yummy Darkling!  I can't wait to find out what's next for Alina and Mal!  This world was creative and amazing--by far the best fantasy world of 2012.

Another JLA!!!!! The sisters are huge fans of Daemon (who isn't?), and Amy and Brittany got to go to the Opal Release party in Houston and meet JLA and Pepe!!!!  Swoon!

My personal favorite of 2012, this one combines it all!!!  A crumbling world, several mystical forces, and one brooding hot guy!!!!!  Trifecta goodness!

This was even better than Embrace!!!!  We loved getting to know Linc a bit more, and plus, there's Phoenix.  Mmmm....Phoenix!!!  And, we got to meet Jessica at Austin Teen Book Festival, and she was a hoot!

This was so great, I read it twice!!!!!!  Great romance interwoven with a bit of trouble--what a great pairing!

This was such a great debut!  I loved the different perspective of Nephilim, and in my opinion, this was the best romance in a YA book this year.

I love love the imagery that Josephine uses!  I felt like I was walking through the Underworld with Helen, and I am dying to find out what happens with her and Lucas.

Perry and Aria.  We love them!  This dystopian world is mixed with a hint of the paranormal--and the sisters love that recipe!!!

So those are our Top 12!!!  Let us know what you thought about them AND what was your favorite of 2012?
